Detailed Information
Introduction
Calcix Tablet is a nutritional supplement which is used to manage calcium and vitamin D deficiency in general, during pregnancy and lactation, and in osteoporosis or osteomalacia. It is also used to manage postmenopausal osteoporosis and hyperphosphatemia. It contains calcium and vitamin D3 as active ingredients that helps meet up the calcium requirements of the body when the dietary intake is not sufficient. Calcium plays a vital role in the body. It is very important for the normal functioning of the muscles, bone, nerves and cells, manages bone loss and is associated with a modest reduction in fracture risk. Vitamin D (cholecalciferol) helps the body to absorb enough calcium and phosphorous. Right amount of calcium, vitamin D3 and phosphorous is crucial for building and maintaining the bone health. Always take Calcix Tablet exactly as advised by your doctor. It is not recommended for use in patients having increased levels of calcium or vitamin D3 in blood, kidney problems, or any cancer of bones. Before taking Calcix Tablet, inform your doctor if you have sarcoidosis (growth of tiny groups of inflammatory cells in any part of your body), osteoporosis, or if you are unable to move around.
