How It Works

BUDATE controls asthma and croup, where budesonide works on the airways and prevents the cells present in the airways from releasing certain chemicals that causes inflammation and swelling. As a result, it reduces airway inflammation, prevents airways from becoming narrow and improves breathing.

Directions for Use

Use BUDATE only as directed by the physician. It is for inhalation use only. Place the medicine in a suitable device (nebulizer). Adjust the device in such a way that the medicine gets converted into a fine mist. Inhale the fine mist of medicine through the device. Once inhalation is over, rinse your mouth with water and spit it out or brush your teeth. Your doctor will decide the correct dose, duration of therapy, and frequency of doses for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop using BUDATE without consulting your doctor.

Side Effects

Drug Interactions

Drug-Drug Interactions: Before using BUDATE, inform your doctor if you are using any of the following medicines such as: ketoconazole, itraconazole (used to manage fungal infections) other steroids (such as prednisolone or dexamethasone) used to manage inflammatory conditions ritonavir, cobicistat (used to manage HIV infections) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally inhaled more of BUDATE, contact your doctor immediately or go to a hospital immediately if the symptoms worsen.
