INTRODUCTION ABOUT BRIMTOFAST EYE DROPSBRIMTOFAST EYE DROPS contains Bimatoprost which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-glaucoma preparations. It is used to manage glaucoma. Glaucoma is group of eye condition that damages the optic nerve (nerves which are responsible for proper vision). It is characterized by increased pressure within the eyes. It is caused due to impaired secretion or drainage of fluids (aqueous humour) within the eyes. Bimatoprost improves the drainage of the accumulated fluids (aqueous humour) from the eye. As a result, it helps in reducing the elevated pressure within the eye. Prior to the management, your doctor would take certain eye tests to understand your existing condition. Before using BRIMTOFAST EYE DROPS, inform your doctor if you had undergone any surgery in your eyes (such as cataract) as a precaution. You must also inform your doctor if you have infections in your eye or any underlying heart conditions (such as low blood pressure or low heart rate). How It Works
BRIMTOFAST EYE DROPS effectively reduces pressure within the eyes, where bimatoprost acts by increasing the drainage of the fluids (aqueous humour) accumulated within the eye. This reduces strain on the eyes and therefore reduces the elevated intraocular pressure.
Directions for Use
Use BRIMTOFAST EYE DROPS as advised by your physician. It is for ophthalmic use only. Wash your hands before use. Instil few drops of BRIMTOFAST EYE DROPS into the affected eye. Close your eyes and press the corner of your eye with your finger for a minute. Do not touch the tip of the dropper with your eye or other body surface to avoid contamination. Apply applying BRIMTOFAST EYE DROPS, leave a time gap of at least 5 minutes before applying other eye drops or ointment. If you wear soft contact lenses, remove the lens before applying BRIMTOFAST EYE DROPS and wait for at least 15 minutes before reinsertion. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop using BRIMTOFAST EYE DROPS without consulting your doctor, as the pressure within the eye may raise once again.
