BILYPSA 4mg Tablet 10's

BILYPSA 4MG TABLET contains Saroglitazar which belongs to the group of medicines called Antidiabetics. It is used to manage Diabetic dyslipidemia and Hypertriglyceridemia (high levels of triglycerides) with Type 2 diabetes mellitus which is not controlled by statin therapy.

BILYPSA 4MG TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant women only if the potential benefits are more than the risks involved. It is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it is not known if it passes through breastmilk. Consult your doctor before taking it.

Although during the clinical studies, no significant weight gain and edema was reported with BILYPSA 4MG TABLET, patients who experience rapid increase in weight should be assessed for fluid accumulation and volume-related events such as excessive edema and congestive heart failure. Consult your doctor for advice.

BILYPSA 4MG TABLET influences glucose metabolism as well as fat metabolism. It acts on certain receptors and helps in lowering high blood triglycerides as well as the glucose levels in the blood and improves insulin resistance. It acts on the liver and increases the degradation of lipids (fats) and decreases their formation as well hence, resulting in reduced triglycerides.

BILYPSA 4MG TABLET should be taken with caution in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus having heart diseases with episodic congestive heart failure. Consult your doctor before taking.
