It happens due to loss of nerve cells at certain regions of brain (basal ganglia) that controls body movements. BEXOL DT TABLET can also be used to control abnormal involuntary muscle movements (such as extreme restlessness or muscle spasms) in the body that is caused due to the use of certain medicines. Trihexyphenidyl is a muscle relaxant. It reduces muscle stiffness and relaxes muscles by reducing the activity of a chemical messenger called acetylcholine in the brain. It also restores a balance between certain brain chemicals (dopamine and acetylcholine) that controls body movements. BEXOL DT TABLET is an anticholinergic medicine with muscle relaxing properties. It reduces muscle stiffness and improves muscle control by reducing the activity of a chemical messenger called acetylcholine in the brain. It also regulates the release of a brain chemical called dopamine that regulates proper body movements and coordination. As a result, it reduces abnormal muscle movements associated with Parkinson’s disease and with the use of certain medicines.
Directions for Use
Take BEXOL DT TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow BEXOL DT TABLET with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the medicine. It must be taken with or just before meals. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Continue to take BEXOL DT TABLET for the stipulated duration as advised by your doctor without any interruption to achieve maximum benefits.
