Introduction

INTRODUCTION ABOUT BETNOVATE N CREAMBETNOVATE N CREAM is a combination of Betamethasone and Neomycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids and Antibiotics respectively. It is used to reduce redness and itching associated with skin problems which involves the risks of infection (such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis or insect bites). Apply a thin layer of BETNOVATE N CREAM on the affected areas. Avoid contact of this medicine with your eyes, mouth, ears, nose or with open wounds. BETNOVATE N CREAM should be used on the face only if instructed by the physician. Do not cover the application site with bandages, dressings or clothes. Do not wear nappies to children after applying BETNOVATE N CREAM. Avoid going near smokes or naked flames to avoid the risk of burns. Before using BETNOVATE N CREAM inform your doctor if you have any other skin problems such as acne, rosacea (severe skin redness), red, spotty rashes around your mouth, itching in the genitals or around the anus or any severe form of viral or fungal skin infections. How It Works

BETNOVATE N CREAM contains two medicines namely, Betamethasone and Neomycin. Betamethasone is a steroid medication. It blocks the release of certain chemicals in the body (such as prostaglandins) that causes inflammation, redness and swelling. When applied topically on the skin, it reduces redness, soreness, pain, itching and swelling. Neomycin is an antibiotic. When applied topically on the skin, it kills the susceptible bacteria that causes infection. Collectively, this medicine reduces inflammation and swelling on the skin and manages skin infections.

Directions for Use

Apply a thin layer of BETNOVATE N CREAM on the affected area or as directed by the physician. It is for external use only. Wash your hands before and after application. Use this medicine on your face only if instructed by your doctor. Avoid contact of this medicine with your eyes, mouth, ears, nose or with open wounds. Do not cover the application site with bandages, dressings or clothes unless your doctor tells you to do so. Do not wear nappies to children after applying BETNOVATE N CREAM.
