Introduction

AZMARDA 200MG TABLET is a combination of Sacubitril and Valsartan which belongs to the group of medicines called Angiotensin receptor neprilysin inhibitors. AZMARDA 200MG TABLET is indicated to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure in patients with chronic heart failure (New York Heart Association Class II-IV) and reduced ejection fraction. Heart failure occurs when the heart is weak and cannot pump enough blood to the lungs and to the rest of the body and it is characterized by symptoms such as breathlessness, fatigue, tiredness and ankle swelling. Before taking AZMARDA 200MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart problems. AZMARDA 200MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women. It is not suitable for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age and it should be used with caution in elderly patients (65 years of age and above). AZMARDA 200MG TABLET helps to manage long-term heart failure, where sacubitril works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels and makes it easier for the heart to pump blood throughout the body and valsartan works by relaxing the blood vessels by blocking a substance called angiotensin-II (causing blood vessels to tighten) which is produced in the body and thus lowers the blood pressure.

Directions for Use

Take AZMARDA 200MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow AZMARDA 200MG TABLET with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
