How It Works
AZIPRESS 40 TABLET helps in the management of high blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and making it easier for the heart to pump blood. Azilsartan selectively inhibits angiotensin II from binding to the angiotensin II type-1 receptor (AT1). This receptor inhibition provides the antihypertensive activity of azilsartan because it blocks the pressor effects of angiotensin II. AZIPRESS 40 TABLET blocks this effect which in turn lowers down the blood pressure.
