OF AUGPEN 600MG INJECTION Management of various bacterial infections

How It Works

AUGPEN 600MG INJECTION helps in managing bacterial infection, where Amoxicillin works by inhibiting penicillin-binding proteins (which are involved in the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall), leading to the activation of autolytic enzymes in the bacterial cell wall. Therefore, leading to lysis of the cell wall and death of the bacterial cell, clavulanic acid inhibits the activity of bacterial enzymes known as beta-lactamases and hence enhances the antibacterial activity of amoxicillin.
