INTRODUCTION ABOUT ARZEP NASAL SPRAYARZEP NASAL SPRAY contains Azelastine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihistamines. It is used to manage allergic rhinitis in adults and in children (aged 6 years or older). Allergic rhinitis (also known as hay fever) is an allergic response caused due to sensitivity of an individual against various allergens such as pollens, dust, moulds or flakes of skin from certain animals. It can occur seasonally or year-round (perennial) and is often characterized by inflammation of the inner lining of the nose accompanied by nasal congestion, repeated sneezing, and red, watery, or itchy eyes. Use ARZEP NASAL SPRAY as directed by your physician. It is for intranasal use only. Your doctor will decide the correct dose, the number of sprays and the duration of therapy for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition. ARZEP NASAL SPRAY is an anti-allergic medication. Drug - Drug interactions: Before using ARZEP NASAL SPRAY, inform your physician if you are taking any of the following medicines such as: cimetidine and ranitidine (used to manage ulcers in the stomach) medicines that can suppress brain functions and induce sleep (Ex. diazepam, alprazolam) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally used excessive amount of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or go to the hospital straight away.
