INTRODUCTION ABOUT ANOMETROGYL CREAMANOMETROGYL CREAM is a combination of Lignocaine and Nifedipine which belongs to the group of medicines called Local anaesthetics, Antibiotics and Antacids. It is used in the management of bedsores (injuries that happen on areas of the skin under pressure for a prolonged time), haemorrhoids (swollen and inflamed veins in the anus that cause discomfort, bleeding and itching) and fistulae (infected tunnel between the skin and the anus). It also helps to manage pain, swelling and discharge of blood or pus from the anus, known as anal fissures (a small cut or tear in the delicate lining of the anus that occurs when passing hard or large stools, causing pain and bleeding during bowel movements along with increased frequency). While using ANOMETROGYL CREAM, avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, immediately wash it out with water or saline.
