Introduction

ANAFORTAN N TABLET is a combination of Camylofin and Nimesulide which belongs to the group of medicines called Anticholinergic and Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) respectively. It is used in the management of renal colic (pain when stone gets stuck in the urinary tract causing painful, bloody or cloudy urination), biliary colic (pain in the abdomen due to obstruction by stones in bile duct), intestinal colic (cramp like pain in the small or large intestine) and dysmenorrhea (period or menstrual cramps around the abdomen, hips, lower back). Having a fiber rich diet, keeping yourself hydrated, quitting smoking and alcohol will help in the management process. Before taking ANAFORTAN N TABLET inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, heart, prostate gland, thyroid gland, lung problems, stomach ulcers, bleeding disorder, bowel problems, having a surgery, glaucoma and fever. Avoid consumption of alcohol during this management. ANAFORTAN N TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor for advice. How It Works

ANAFORTAN N TABLET works by relieving muscle cramps and pain in which Camylofin relaxes the muscles in the stomach and intestine stopping sudden muscle contractions (spasms) and Nimesulide inhibits the enzyme cyclo-oxygenase and there by inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and pain.

Directions for Use

Take ANAFORTAN N TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the right dose and duration depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
