AMROX SYRUP contains Ambroxol, Guaiphenesin, Menthol, and Terbutaline, which belong to the group of medicines called Mucolytic agents, Expectorants, Bronchodilators, and Cooling agents, respectively. It is used to manage productive cough associated with bronchospasm, bronchitis, bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchiectasis, and chest congestion.

AMROX SYRUP contains ambroxol, which is a mucolytic agent and acts by thinning the mucous. It can act on the mucous lining present in the stomach as well and disrupt it. Therefore, AMROX SYRUP should be used with caution in patients with a history of peptic ulcers.
