Introduction
AMICLINE PLUS TABLET is a combination of Ornidazole and Diloxanide which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics and Anti-protozoal agents respectively. It is used in the management of intestinal and extraintestinal amoebiasis (parasitic infection of the intestines caused by the amoeba Entamoeba histolytica). It is also used to manage diarrhea (amoebic etiology) and giardiasis (diarrheal infection of small intestine caused by Giardia lamblia). Your doctor might want you to make certain lifestyle changes such as maintaining good hygiene, eating a healthy diet and drinking plenty of fluids. Do not consume alcohol while taking AMICLINE PLUS TABLET. Consult your doctor for advice before taking this medicine. Before taking AMICLINE PLUS TABLET inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart disease, epilepsy or multiple sclerosis (affecting brain).
