ALMOTAN 12.5MG TABLET is a selective serotonin receptor agonist which works by binding to certain receptors (5-HT1B and 5-HT1D, which is responsible for basic brain function) in the blood vessels of the brain that cause narrowing of the vessels and reduce blood flow to the brain thus resulting in the blockade of transmission of pain signals to the brain which produce relief from the migraine pain.
Directions for Use
Take ALMOTAN 12.5MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow ALMOTAN 12.5MG TABLET with a glass of water and do not chew or crush the medicine. John’s Wort Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally takes too much of ALMOTAN 12.5MG TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
