Introduction
INTRODUCTION ABOUT ALKAZIP SYRUPALKAZIP SYRUP contains Disodium Hydrogen Citrate which belongs to the group of medicines called Urinary Alkalizers. It is used to manage the symptoms of urinary tract infections (such as low urine output, painful urination or burning sensation while passing urine) when used in combination with antibiotics. It works by increasing your blood pH and by making your urine less acidic. Therefore, it helps in managing metabolic acidosis (low pH in blood) and hyperuricemia (high blood uric acid levels) and manage the incidence of gout and/or kidney stones caused due to high blood uric acid levels. It corrects dehydration by replacing the lost electrolytes in the body. It also helps in managing the symptoms of inflammation in the urinary tract such as pyelitis, cystitis, urethritis and urolithiasis. ALKAZIP SYRUP must be dissolved in water before consumption. Before taking ALKAZIP SYRUP inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have Addison’s disease, fluid retention in your body parts or lungs, hypertension or heat cramps as a precaution. Do not take ALKAZIP SYRUP without consulting your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common
