INTRODUCTION ABOUT ALEX L SF ORAL SUSPENSIONALEX L SF ORAL SUSPENSION contains Levocloperastine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antitussives agents. It is used for symptomatic management of non-productive cough associated with acute and chronic respiratory disorders. Do not consume alcohol while taking this medicine. ALEX L SF ORAL SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver impairment, have excessive discharge of mucus, or limited mucociliary function. Before using ALEX L SF ORAL SUSPENSION tell your doctor if you have hypertension, cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, or seizures ALEX L SF ORAL SUSPENSION is generally not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. ALEX L SF ORAL SUSPENSION acts at the central nervous system (CNS) level by blocking both the central cough centre and peripheral receptors in the airway passage (trachea, lungs). Hence reducing the cough.
