ADIBOSE GM 2MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to glimepiride, metformin, voglibose, and/or other sulfonylureas or sulphonamides. OF ADIBOSE GM 2MG TABLET Type II diabetes mellitus

How It Works

ADIBOSE GM 2MG TABLET contains a combination of three medicines namely, glimepiride, metformin, and voglibose. Each of these drugs works in a different way to help lower blood sugar: Glimepiride: It stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin, which helps lower blood sugar by allowing cells to take in glucose. Metformin: It decreases the amount of glucose produced by the liver and improves the sensitivity of muscle cells to insulin, allowing them to use glucose more effectively. Voglibose: It inhibits enzymes in the gut that break down carbohydrates into glucose, slowing down the absorption of sugar from food. Together, these actions help control blood sugar levels throughout the day by improving insulin secretion, reducing glucose production, and slowing sugar absorption.

Directions for Use

Take ADIBOSE GM 2MG TABLET under medical supervision. It can be taken once or twice daily with meals, depending on your doctor’s advice Taking it with food helps reduce stomach upset and ensures proper absorption of the medication. The tablet should be swallowed whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet as this can affect how the medication is absorbed. Since glimepiride stimulates insulin release, make sure to eat meals regularly to avoid hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Do not adjust the dose or stop taking the medication without consulting your healthcare provider. Always follow your doctor's specific instructions, and regularly monitor your blood sugar levels as advised.
