INTRODUCTION ABOUT ADDPHOS GRANULESADDPHOS GRANULES contains Sodium acid phosphate which belongs to the group of medicines called Inorganic salts. It is used to manage hypophosphatemia (low blood phosphorous levels) and hypercalcemia (high blood calcium levels). It can also be used to manage phosphate depletion and calcium-based kidney stone. How It Works
ADDPHOS GRANULES work by decreasing calcium in blood in patients with hypercalcemia. It also works by binding to the calcium ions present in the gut and helps to manage kidney stones and the oral phosphate present in this medicine helps to correct hypophosphatemia (low blood phosphate levels).
Directions for Use
Take ADDPHOS GRANULES as advised by your physician. It should be taken with meals. This medicine should be emptied and dissolved in 2/3rd to 1 full glass of water. Stir briskly and swallow the contents immediately. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you based upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
